Laboratory Animal Resources (LAR) is a support program of the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin. It provides care for research animals in a way that fulfills the requirements of good experimental design; and administers a program of animal care and use so that it is consistent with regulatory and accreditation expectations. LAR is accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care, International.
